There are two types of visas that allowed you to start a business in New Zealand.
- Entrepreneur Resident Visa
- Entrepreneur Work Visa
Entrepreneur Resident Visa
- Applicants who are on Entrepreneur Work Visa and those who are interested in starting up the business with at least NZ $ 5,00,000 in New Zealand for a two year period they can go ahead with this visa for permanent basis rights.
- After this visa, they can apply for Permanent Residency.

Eligibility Criteria:
- There is No Age Limit.
- You must have created at least 3 Jobs.
- Have a Good Character Requirement.
- You should have been working on Entrepreneur Work visa for two years.
Family: Your partner and children (below 24 years) can be added in Entrepreneur Residency Visa application.
Visa Stay Period: You can stay indefinitely
Application fee: Entrepreneur resident Visa Application Fee is – NZ$ 4140.

Processing Time: Average Processing time is 18 months.
Entrepreneur Work Visa
- If you want to start your Own Business in New Zealand with this visa, you can buy or set up a business in New Zealand.
- You must make a Capital Investment of 1,00,000 NZD at least if at all your business in the Science or ICT Sector It can be waived if at all we show a high level of innovation or export Potential.
- This visa makes you step towards residency Visa in New Zealand.
What this Visa Make you Eligible for:
- Can live for three years in New Zealand.
- Multiple Entry Visa.
- You can work in your own business for three years.
- You can do Study for three months in 12months.
- You can include your partner and children aged 19 and under.
Eligibility Criteria:
- There is No Age Limit.
- Have a Good Character for both the applicants.
- Genuine Person.
- Business Experience.
Family: Your partner and children (below 19 years) can be added in Entrepreneur Work Visa application.
Visa Stay Period: You can stay up to 36 months.
Application Fees: Entrepreneur Work Visa Application Fee is –NZ$ 3365.
