That way you will get to see different parts of the Dolomites. If you will be staying in Val Gardena, take your pick from days 8, 9, or 10. First things first; if youre doing a road trip to the Dolomites, youre probably going to need a car! If you havent driven over one of these passes yet, then choose the route that is new to you. Note, it can also be done in the opposite direction, if traveling from Val Gardena to Cortina dAmpezzo. We believe the absolute best time of year to visit the Dolomites is during September and early October.
