The walk to get to the bottom is a lot of stairs, but you don't have to walk down to enjoy the waterfall. This entrance leads visitors into a vestige of the Cumberland Plateau, which is unspoiled and densely forested. There were handicap accessible views of both main waterfalls, conveniently located (and clean) bathrooms, well posted and maintained hiking trails, and various picnic areas.
